All the layers swirling around those dark eyes.

Maybe a metaphor that is our life. The brain clutter that fills our head. Distracting us. Serving as impediments keeping us from focusing on what is important. Most of which we create ourselves.

If only we could break free.

Break free from ourselves.

There's something to the lyric 'freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose.'

Ironically, most of which was never ours to lose in the first place.
